Velvet is a soft fabric with no loose threads making it more durable and resistant to pulls.

• Remove dust from velvet using the brush attachment and a low suction on your vacuum.

• Remove fluff using a lint roller.

• Remove stains from velvet by first allowing it to dry into the mini fibres. Then use warm soapy water and a damp cloth, baby water wipe, or upholstery wipe.

• Remove body/pet odours by enlisting the help of a professional. We recommend having your velvet sofa steam cleaned every 12-18 months. It's important to have all matching pieces of velvet cleaned at the same time to produce an even fade. After steam cleaning, it is advisable to brush the surface to restore the raised look or nap of the surface.
