Are you in need of extra space for a home office, play room or gym space? Look no further than Ronan at RÓ Design. RÓ Design who provide bespoke furniture and commercial fit out services have recently added to their offerings with the addition of its “Modular Studio Spaces”. 

The timber frame panels used in their construction are pre made in in Ronan's workshop and assembled and finished on site. The structure goes together in about an hour and is watertight the same day. The modular garden rooms come with 100mm of insulation as standard in the walls, floor and roof and are also sealed with an airtightness membrane to insure high u-values and a cosy space year round. Finished in a maintenance free composite cladding they are also available with natural timber claddings including Cedar and Larch . "It takes approximately three days to finish once the structure is assembled on site” Ronan tells me. An additional room completely fitted out within three days with no inconvenience to the homeowner.

Current planning laws allow for a structure of up to 24sqm without seeking permission as long as a few guidelines are adhered to. They sit on a concrete pad foundation and can be customised to allow for services. Ronan plans to offer three different sizes as standard with the option to fully customise the design, the interior layout and fitout. The perfect solution for anyone looking to add extra space to their home life!
