Green

Sage Green - Shades of green have been trending for the last few seasons with one of the most popular being sage green. This tone is a muted pastel green and when makes your living room feel welcome when incorporated into it. The environment feels calm with this colour.

Green Foliage - This shade of green is a bolder colour. Make a statement by painting your walls this colour or incorporate the colour into your furniture. This shade is the colour of vegetation and will add richness and light into any living room.

Orange

Rust Orange – Orange tones add pops of colour against a neutral living room. Rust orange creates a warm and welcoming feeling and is an ideal choice for the Autumn/Winter seasons, although it works all year round. Combine with pink, brown and earthy tones to add depth and character to your room.

Orange & Blue - This colour combination may seem like a lot with two bold colours, however, adding elements of these tones around the room can ass a subtle and tasteful colour that will fill your living room with good vibes. Adding the blue and a brighter orange to the rust orange will create more of a summer feel for the warmer months.

Grey

Grey with Neutrals – Neutral colours such as grey, beige, and creams are always a popular trend for home interior. To avoid your living room becoming too dull or plain, make sure to add different shades of greys and neutrals in, as well as a variety of textures and layers.

Grey with Colour – You may want to make the room livelier with colour rather than textures. Create a striking look by adding yellow cushions, red curtains, or a green sofa to your grey living room.

Neutrals

White, browns, beige, grey-green and pastel blue, always look good in any environment. They are neutral base colours that are easy to combine.

Again, in order to avoid your living room being too boring, incorporate different shades and tones into the colour scheme. Adding different materials such as wood, leather, glass, and marble create a dynamic living space. Tables and cabinets in dark wood are elegant and black furniture can be chic.

One idea is to combine dark brown and white, with pastel colours like light blue or pale yellow. This combination of colours brings warmth to a room and appears interesting as soon as you walk in.
